MY PICKS, AROUND
THE WORLD.
WINE, CROISSANTS, FOOD, CULTURE.
THIS WEEK’S DROP
DROP 01:
Mouzon Leroux
L'Atavique
Welcome to The Drop – the home for my pick on wine, food – heavy on croissants ;) – and culture. Kicking off these series with one of my favourite champagnes, L'Atavique by Mouzon-Leroux. Priced below $100, yet still packing depth, richness, and finesse of bottles priced well over $$$
DROP 01:
PETITGRAIN BOULANGERIE
Butter Croissant
Petitgrain bakery – arguably the best croissants in Los Angeles. Rich, flaky, doughy combination all well balanced using local, whole grains and Isigny Ste Mère (godly) butter. Hard to resist the solid crunch-doughiness perfection they create in each bite.
DROP 01:
DEBORAH ROBERTS
After Motherwell
After Motherwell by Deborah Roberts – A piece that speaks to me in different languages, visuals, and sentiments every time I see it.
Fitting as the collage work of Debroah Roberts is centered around the complexities of black culture and identity.
